In everything give thanks. This scriptural truth has been tremendously overlooked in our culture, and even in our church. Genuine gratitude doesn’t result from a ‘fake it til you make it’ approach in our own strength: it comes from actually knowing who God is. The Lord gives us the reason to be grateful, the faith to be grateful, and the power to be grateful. Jesus is calling us in this moment to adopt an attitude driven by supernatural gratitude so that the doors can be opened wide to the massive harvest that God deserves in this generation. Jesus is altogether worthy! These trials will be used by God to strengthen us at a pivotal time. Thank you Lord!

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
