Welcome back to The Amateur Society for a conversation about when to concede. Typically this word invokes images of quitting and giving up, but the definition belies more nuanced scenarios. We explore what it means to concede by looking at the more structured example of a chess match before turning to personal, subjective circumstances. There are times when conceding is appropriate and even necessary. How we deal with these moments will depend on how well we examine our worldviews on an ongoing basis. Thanks again for joining us on The Amateur Society!
