Many believe fervently that the end times are upon us as we see the signs mentioned by Jesus in Matthew 24. There remains a testimony of God’s mercy, grace, and salvation that we are called to present in this generation. The further we drift from the Word of God the more our times will look like the days of Noah. In building the ark, Noah needed to believe God for decades despite the wickedness around him, the scorning of the society he lived in, and the unprecedented nature of his claims. Noah went in faith moving with the fear of the Lord despite every natural inclination to give in and give up. We must be dedicated to the Kingdom of God in this generation. Jesus is the ark now, and we must lift Him up so that He will draw all people unto Himself. Holy Spirit guide us in this hour when hardness of heart has led many to resist the truth of the gospel!
But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
