We can only see so far. God is now calling us to say yes to something He is leading us into. The mercies of the Lord lie right beyond our own horizons. Will we step out today as so many have in the past? Will the examples in God’s word of the faithful inspire us to bold obedience? There are those who don’t say yes to God. They don’t say no; they simply don’t respond. How many in our day have done the same? Don’t let that be said about us! Jesus help us to say yes in obedience, trusting you with our lives, and pressing onward into the supernatural lives that you are calling us into!
So David arose and came to the place where Saul had encamped. And David saw the place where Saul lay, and Abner the son of Ner, the commander of his army. Now Saul lay within the camp, with the people encamped all around him. Then David answered, and said to Ahimelech the Hittite and to Abishai the son of Zeruiah, brother of Joab, saying, “Who will go down with me to Saul in the camp?”
And Abishai said, “I will go down with you.”
